Watermelon Design Nails.

Funny Watermelon Nail Design. 

This funny Nail design is ideal at this time of the year. since summer  is coming. The watermelon is the best fruit to make this design!

It is ideal for Fruit Themed Parties or any Kind of Parties, a Family Meeting, a Birthday Party.

Since the nail polishes for the pulp and the rind are not of a really good quality, we painted the nails with a white base coat of Crisnail 079 French White to protect the Nails. When they were dried, we painted only the base of the nail with the 152 nail polish of Easy Paris Cosmetics. This nail polish is very special, because it is a mixture between nail polish and glitter. Its colour is Watermelon, but it has little gold-coloured dots, which give a watermelon effect. Use a little bit and clean the paint brush before applying it, because it doesn´t dry easily. If you apply a lot, you might have to wait to get it dried. I bought this nail polish in a `Chinese bargain shop´.

As you can see in the picture, we didn´t use guides to paint. It was made on purpose. If we had used them, the division would have been perfect and it wouldn´t look natural. Nonetheless, we painted by mistake in other places and we corrected it with the white colour D´kora de Darossa,  (any white pencil for Nail Art will be perfect). 

On the upper middle of the tips of the Nails use nail polish 463 of Yes Love. It is actually green as the colour of a dark watermelon rind.When it was dried, this nail polish looked really nice with just one coat. I bought it in a `Chinese bargain shop´ too. However, I preferred to apply two coats, since this colour is on the tip of the nail. This part becomes damaged easily due to the daily activities.    

In Guatemala I bought a light green nail polish of Darosa and its line D´Kora. So I decided to add a really thin line under the dark green. I used it too to simulate the light green veins of the watermelon rind.

To make the seeds, I used the black nail polish of the D´Kora line of Darosa. I just placed softly the paint brush on the nail.

Finally, using the white nail polish of D´Kora add some white dots to simulate the white seeds.

And of course, to protect the nails I applied two coats of  Sally Hansen gloss.
